Questions prospective users usually ask.
Helios is designed to be straightforward for both the performer and the audience.

Does the audience need to install an app?
No. Audience members scan your QR code and use Helios through a normal modern web browser.
Do audience members need an account?
No. Helios is designed to keep the audience process quick and low-friction.
Can people request any song they like?
In normal repertoire mode, they request from the songs you have chosen to make visible. DJ/Open Request Mode is available where free-text requests are more appropriate.
Who decides whether a request is performed?
You do. Helios delivers and organises the request; it does not control your running order or performance.
Can I hide songs temporarily?
Yes. Songs can be hidden from the audience without being removed permanently from your main repertoire.
Does Helios support tips?
Yes. Optional Tip Jar and tipped-song features are available. Where enabled, payments use the performer's own Stripe connection.
Does Helios take a percentage of my tips?
Helios is designed so the performer's own Stripe account handles the payment route; Helios does not need to hold the tip money.
Can I use it outside the UK?
Yes. Helios was designed with international performers and audiences in mind and includes multilingual audience support.
Is it only for singers?
No. Helios is suitable for singers, musicians, DJs, karaoke hosts and other entertainers whose audiences make requests.
